Video Premiere Reaction

So, the video premiere got delayed...again.

This brought me right back to 2021, the height of Covid, when my original content got taken down and I was banned from YouTube. That whole experience was devastating, a real punch to the gut.  This time, the premiere delay felt like a cruel echo of that past trauma.  Putting yourself out there as an artist is hard enough, opening yourself up to judgment and accusations, especially when exploring themes like mental health, body positivity, and sex positivity.  

This video, inspired by my own struggles with bipolar disorder, uses powerful imagery – two naked men exploring themes of control and surrender within a sexual phantasy – to express the universal feeling of being trapped in a nightmare and yearning for liberation. Big thanks to Lou for talking me through it just then and now – that conversation was a lifeline.  

The good news is, the video IS finally up online and STILL is (though a few hours later than on Apple Music).
